FastLoop Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Sycana Health AI LLC (we, us, or our) publishes FastLoop. We are located at Little Rock, Arkansas, United States.

This policy applies to the FastLoop Android app, the FastLoop iOS and watchOS apps, the Wear OS app, widgets, and complications. It does not apply to sycana.com, the Sycana healthcare referral platform, or services operated by Apple, Google, or other third parties.

2. Summary

FastLoop stores your fasting and weight data on your own devices. There are no FastLoop accounts, no Sycana servers that receive your app content, and no advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs. Health Connect and HealthKit access is optional and controlled by you.

3. Data stored on your devices

FastLoop stores the following in its private app database and preferences: fasting sessions (start and end time, target duration, protocol, completion state, optional mood and notes), eating windows, weight entries (measurement, date, optional note, and whether the entry was written to a health platform), app preferences, and a local Pro entitlement cache.

This information is used only to run the app. We do not receive it, and we do not sell or share it.

4. Health Connect (Android)

Health Connect access is optional. If you grant it, FastLoop requests permission to read sleep data (to calculate sleep that overlaps a completed fast) and to write weight data (to save a weight entry you explicitly log). We do not use Health Connect data for advertising, eligibility, or any purpose unrelated to these features, and we do not send it to Sycana.

You can revoke access at any time in Health Connect settings. You can delete weight records FastLoop created through the app's Delete All My Data action or in Health Connect. Google's terms and Google's Privacy Policy apply to Health Connect.

5. Apple Health and HealthKit (iOS)

HealthKit access is optional. If you grant it, FastLoop reads sleep analysis and body mass, and writes body mass entries you explicitly log. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or sell it, and FastLoop does not sync HealthKit-derived data to iCloud.

You can revoke access in the Health app or iOS Settings, and delete records in the Health app. Apple's Apple's Privacy Policy applies.

6. Wear OS sync

If you pair a Wear OS watch, FastLoop sends a compact timer snapshot through Google's Wearable Data Layer. The snapshot contains the active state, protocol name, start and target times, eating-window state, session identifier, and revision number. It does not contain weight, notes, mood, or sleep data. The watch stores the last snapshot locally.

7. Notifications, alarms, and exports

If you allow notifications, FastLoop schedules local fasting and eating-window reminders using Android alarms or iOS notifications. Reminder content is not sent to Sycana. If you create a CSV export, the file is written where you choose to share or save it; anyone with the file can read it.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

FastLoop Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing on Android and Apple In-App Purchase on iOS. We receive the product identifier, purchase state, and the transaction or entitlement token needed to unlock and restore Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment card number or full billing address.

Google and Apple process payment and account data under their own privacy policies: Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy. Purchase state may be cached locally so the app can work offline and restore purchases.

9. No sale, advertising, or tracking

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising. The app does not include Sycana-operated advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs, and we do not use your content for advertising or eligibility decisions.

We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

10. Legal bases, rights, and choices

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process purchase and entitlement data to perform our contract with you, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and supporting the app. We do not receive the content you create in the app. Apple and Google act as independent controllers for their store services.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, object to, or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold your app content, most requests are fulfilled on your device or through your Apple or Google account. You may also contact privacy@sycana.com. You can complain to your local data-protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may contact privacy@sycana.com to exercise applicable rights.

India: where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, you may contact our grievance contact at privacy@sycana.com to exercise rights of access, correction, and erasure.

11. Retention and deletion

Local data stays on your devices until you delete it. FastLoop's Delete All My Data action erases fasting sessions, eating windows, and weight records; cancels scheduled reminders; removes the ongoing notification; refreshes widgets; and sends an inactive snapshot to a paired watch. It also asks Health Connect to delete weight records FastLoop created, when permission is still granted.

Uninstalling the app removes its local database and preferences. Records written to Health Connect or Apple Health are managed by those platforms and must be deleted there. Exports and backups you created remain wherever you saved them.

12. Security

App data is stored in the app's private sandbox and protected by your device operating system. Optional biometric unlock uses the operating system's authentication APIs; we do not receive or store your fingerprint, face data, or device passcode.

FastLoop disables Android cloud backup for its app database. Health Connect and HealthKit data are protected by the respective platform.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device protected with a passcode, current system updates, and a secure backup location.

13. Children

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact privacy@sycana.com.

14. International transfers

Sycana is based in the United States. Apple and Google process store, payment, and sync data globally under their own policies and safeguards. We do not transfer the content you create in the app to Sycana servers because we do not receive it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be presented in the app or store listing before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised policy.
